Through special algorithm which ensures an high-accuracy detection of the core temperature (36.5℃) (97.7℉),
GIRM-SST-30(30Hz) can operate without any blackbody. It just needs some warm-up time.
The temperature accuracy without blackbody is 0.3℃ (0.54℉).
Optional miniature BB configuration is available. With BB, the temperature accuracy is 0.2℃ (0.36℉).

GIRM-SST-9-GBB product is equipped with world's first miniature BB.
It should be operated with BB and the temperature accuracy with BB is 0.2℃ (0.36℉).
